For the Family

If you're looking for things to do off the course, then you are truly spoilt for choice. Set in the heart of Perthshire, the rural tranquil town of Alyth is an ideal base for touring the area, which offers an endless list of outdoor activities from hillwalking, mountain biking, fishing, sailing and horse riding to the more extreme pursuits of skiing, snowboarding and paragliding. Only 20 miuntes drive from the excellent leisure and shopping centres of Dundee and Perth, the area is also well known for its historical sites, distillieries and craft shops. The list goes on and on. If none of the above are for you, why not discover some of the craft industries, distilleries, parks, gardens and factory museums in the area?

Described by Sir Walter Scott as "The most varied and most beautiful province in Scotland ", Perthshire has changed little to this day, boasting all the features for which Scotland is most famous - mountains, glens, lochs, rivers and coastlines.
